Company History

The history of Tooele and the Oquirrh Mountains is a testament to the resilience and adaptability of the communities that have called this region home. From its early mining boom to its present-day diversification, Tooele and the Oquirrh Mountains continue to evolve while cherishing their historical roots.

It is with great pride and passion that I embark on a transformative journey to establish a mental health practice right here in my hometown. Welcome to Oquirrh Mental Wellness!

As a member of this community for over thirty years, I have witnessed firsthand the struggles faced by many individuals who grapple with mental health issues silently, often without the necessary resources and understanding. This realization has fueled my determination to create a safe haven for individuals seeking solace, healing, and empowerment.

Community is at the heart of everything we do. We recognize the significance of a strong support network and are dedicated to collaborating with local organizations, schools, and healthcare providers to promote mental health awareness and destigmatize seeking help.

Our vision is to inspire a positive change in the lives of our clients, their families, and the community as a whole. Together, let us build a healthier, happier, and more emotionally aware community, right here in our beloved hometown.

A little about me: I love the outdoors (hiking, fishing, kayaking, camping), vacationing at the beach, and chasing adventure with my three boys. I love gummy bears and flavored water, Costco, and going to the movie theatres with recliners. I was born in Germany where my dad was stationed in the Army, moved to Oklahoma for a few years, and then landed in Utah following his retirement in 1992.
